We were approached by Lesley from Queensgate Care Home in Hull after having installed a carpeted floor over ten years previous.

It was such a pleasure to be asked to return and upgrade their flooring to something that would be really hard-wearing and that would stand the test of time for many more years to come.

It was clear that as time has passed by, the old flooring had suffered lots of spillages and moisture, so we discussed the various options available using some of the latest advancements in flooring products on the market today.

Karndean is a wonderful product and comes in a vast range of options to suit all tastes. Lesley fell in love with a style from their Van Gogh range which we feel worked perfectly because of its warm and classical appearance.

Carrying out the flooring project:

Of course, as the business is a residential care home – it was essential for safety reasons that work was undertaken at times that cause the minimum of disruption to the day to day running of the home. With this is mind we worked through the evenings to minimise disruption as much as we could. We understood completely just how important it was that our work was completed quickly and so we worked long hours to complete the project as quickly as possible.
